MARCH WORSHIP

Davenport Worship at 9:00am with Sunday School during Worship 9:15am                                                      

Norman will Worship at 11:00am with Sunday School during Worship 11:15-12:00pm                                               

NOTE There will be NO 9:00am worship at Davenport on Sunday March 10.  There will be Supper Church at 5pm that day at Davenport School.                                                               

 

*TODAY Youth Bible Study with Josiah 11am in Norman Fellowship Hall All 9-12 grade welcome!   

 

*This Wednesday, February 28 Lent Worship 7:00pm at Norman Lutheran- Meal begins at 6:00pm.

**Lenten Offering- The Parish Council has decided to share this years’ lent offering with two of our Norman Davenport Parish families.  

 

*Parish Family Ice Skating Event --All are Welcome!!!

Your family is invited to a PARISH ICE SKATING evening!                                                                                                

When:  Sunday, March 3         Time: 4-6 pm                                                                                                                                                         

Where:  The Lights, West Fargo Pizza will be served about 5:30 pm.                                                                     

Event is FREE of cost thanks to a wonderful event sponsor! There is a signup genius on the website ndparish.net so we can get an idea of how much pizza to plan for.  

 

**SPECIAL MEETING MARCH 3, 2024                                                                                                                         

Norman members- a proposed copy of the updated Constitution has been emailed out for your viewing. There will be a special meeting on March 3rd following worship to vote on the changes. For those that do not have access to an online copy to view, I have made several copies and left them in the entryway for you to view.  Any question please contact Dawn Thompson, Norman President.

 

*Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 10th as Davenport Lutheran will host their Community Supper Church- 5:00pm-6:00pm at the Davenport School. This month’s theme is St. Patrick’s Day with a Hotdish Showdown Competition. See Katie’s flyer for details and information of how to sign up for the hotdish showdown!  No 9am Morning Worship at Davenport March 10th.

 

*Parish Youth Ski Trip in the planning. Ski Trip has been moved to Sunday, March 17th.  More details for registration and cost will be forthcoming soon.  Mark your calendars!

IMMEDIATE NEED AT KINDRED COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY The food pantry has been busy–Items can be dropped off at Kindred Lutheran Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm. Or you may bring to our churches and we will see that it gets to the pantry. Thank you!


*Youth (6-12) Fundraising Opportunity for Upward Basketball events throughout the next several Saturdays. See signup genius or talk to Amity Johnson. There are still a few time spots available tovolunteer.                                          

 

*We continue to help provide snacks for the elementary school. You may leave individually wrapped items such as applesauce pouches or fruit cups, granola bars, etc… at the church and they will be taken to the school. Thanks!
