*Parish Council meeting Wednesday August 10th following Davenport Worship

*Kindred Days is this coming weekend August 12-14. Parade is Saturday..”Oldies can pick up their car magnet signs at the church. Kids all welcome to ride on the hay wagon.

*Davenport Community Days September 17-18

*Kindred Public Library is Celebrating its 20th year. They will be hosting the Festival of Tables on Tuesday, August 9 at St. Maurice’s in Kindred. Contact the library for tickets to the event or to donate a purse prize for the raffle.

*Story Time at Kindred Library has been rescheduled to August 17th at 10:00am “Creepy Crawlers” special harmless guests: snake, gecko, salamander. Hosted by Zach & Sheena Bateson

*Norman members, there are opportunities to signup on the website for ushering, acolyting and reading duties. ndparish.net

*Blessing of the Backpack Service at Norman Lutheran will be Sunday August 14th 9:00am

* BACK 2 SCHOOL "SHOE RUN"

Who doesn't love new shoes?! Join the Norman Davenport Parish in an opportunity to work with the Kindred Public School to "kick off" the school year and help make sure each student in the elementary school can start school with a new pair of shoes! Please consider donating to this "shoe run" where we will collect the donated money and buy a variety of shoes to drop off at the elementary school. Students can privately "shop" for their new shoes in August and show up on the first day wearing brand new shoes.
