The Norman Lutheran Church Foundation is excited to be in its second year of operation! The foundation was created in 2022 from the sale of the church parsonage in Kindred. The mission of this foundation is to grow the invested funds and allow the earnings to be put back into the community in the form of grants that “further and foster the mission of Jesus Christ." Your gift to the Norman Lutheran Church Foundation helps support opportunities in our community to allow people to be creative in how they grow in Christ together.
In 2023 the Foundation is pleased to have supported six grants to total $7725:
$2500 - ND Parish Youth Group - ski trip
$500 - Crossroads Lutheran Campus Ministry - finals food truck
$500 - Kindred Area Backpack Program - weekend food backpacks for students in need
$1000 - Kindred Community Youth Group - Valley Fair trip
$2925 - Red Willow Bible Camp - sent parish youth to camp
$300 - Norman Bible Readers - cost of books for Erin Westby Bible Study
Number of grants given since 2022: 7 for a total of $9225.
