Welcome and Announcements Opening Prayer Almighty and ever living God, you invite us deeper into your world, your people, your Lent. May this time be one of outward focus; seeking you in those we often ignore. Help us live a Lent focused on freedom, generosity, and encounter. Give us hearts hungry to serve you and those who need what we have to give. In your Holy name, Amen.
Holden Evening Prayer Readers: Elise Anderson & Anthony Ebens
1st Reading - John 3:14-18 Psalm – Psalm 33:20- 2nd Reading - Micah 5:4 Video Sermon by Rob Bell – Bullhorn
Closing Prayer Lord, we give you thanks for this wonderful evening of prayer and worship. We thank you for guiding each person here tonight and pray that they have felt your presence with them during this time and will continue on the journey ahead. Help us Lord to not judge and condemn others but to instead show them love and respect, even when we don’t agree. Jesus came here to save not to condemn. Help us to remember each day that how we love others is how we love God. In your Holy name, we pray, Amen.
Closing Song, Borning Cry (732)
Go in peace and serve the Lord!
Thanks be to God!
