ANNOUNCEMENTS-
*Fall Worship times will change September 11th. Davenports last summer Wednesday service will be August 31st. September will find Norman with 9:00am Worship and Davenport 11:00am.
*Rally Sunday September 11th at both Norman and Davenport. Potluck meal and fellowship to follow each service.
*Wednesday Kids Club at Davenport will begin September 14th
*September 18th is first day of Sunday School at Norman. Can you help teach this year? See the signup genius on the ndparish.net website
*Norman members, there are opportunities to signup on the website for ushering, acolyting and reading duties. ndparish.net
*Parish Women- We are planning our 2nd Annual Table Fest Saturday, October 29th. If you are interested in hosting & decorating a table, please contact Elaine Swenson or Nancy Ebens
*St. Ben’s Catholic Church, rural Horace, will hold its Annual Fall Ham Dinner on Sunday September 18th from 11:00am-2:00pm
*St. Maurices Turkey Dinner scheduled for October 9th.
*Davenport Lutheran will be having a rummage sale during Community Days , Saturday September 17th. If you have items to donate to the sale, you may drop them by the church the week of September 11th. Items do not need to be priced/tagged. This will be a free will offering sale. Any items unsold will be donated to a local organization.

Let us pray. A brief silence is kept before the prayer. O God, mighty and immortal, you know that as fragile creatures surrounded by great dangers, we cannot by ourselves stand upright. Give us strength of mind and body, so that even when we suffer because of human sin, we may rise victorious through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
