Parish Ski Trip January 29!
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN GOING SKIING SIGN UP HERE! We're trying to figure out if we need one bus or two - families are welcome to ride the bus and youth in 7-12 welcome without a parent.
The Norman-Davenport Parish is excited to host a Parish Youth Ski Trip to Detroit Mountain in Detroit Lakes, MN on Sunday, January 29 from 10 am - 8 pm.
Ages: Youth in grades 7-12 are invited to ride the bus and come along to ski for the afternoon. We will potentially offer a tubing opportunity as well depending on interest.
Younger children and families are welcome to attend as well and if there is enough interest we'll secure a second bus! Just put the total number of people interested on the signup. A sack lunch will be provided as we get on the bus.
Skiers/Snowboarders: Detroit Mountain will work with us to do an online registration again this year. More information to come after the new year.
Tubers: Please indicate on this signup if you/your child is interested in tubing. This is a 2 hour time slot, and we will be at detroit mountain for 8 hours this year. That is a lot of downtime in the chalet so we're just putting this out there - if we have enough interest will figure out chaperones for this.
Cost: $79.45 (full package - lift ticket and rentals), $50.46 (lift ticket only), $22.40 (2 hours of tubing)
*The Norman Lutheran Church Foundation and Parish Youth Group have shown interest in helping sponsor part of the cost of the trip again this year! Again, more information on final cost to come after the new year.
